WelcomeToGlion: Hell's Kitchen opens the doors!

Good morning Glioners!

When the clock strikes midnight for Cindererella is time to run back home.
But when the clock strikes the noon in HDA kitchen...

YES CHEF!

Despite the fact that I had so much fun also in Semester one, working here in HDA it was even better! Every morning the atmosphere in the kitchen was "amazing"!

Each student is working in a different role such as Head chef, sauce chef, larder chef, vegetables chef, pastry chef and tournant chef.
Once in the kitchen we have to prepare the meals that are served at lunch or dinner, preparing the dressings, the salads and the desserts, and think about the mise en place, so how you would like to serve your plate.

But when the clock strikes the noon, Hell's Kitchen opens the doors!

ONE DAILY, TWO SALMONS, THREE CHOCOLATE!

FIRE!

YES CHEF!

In the two hours of service this is more or less how it goes! Everything is going so fast and you need to be ready with the plates when the orders come in the kitchen, of course all at the same time!
The head chef is shouting to get the team's attention to sign the orders and when the chef says FIRE! (it's time to panic!) all the plates have to be on the pass.

In fact, "Great team work and communication are important in kitchen, especially  YES CHEF.... never forget to say it! (Margaux Cherpillod, 2nd Semester)

"This semester we had for sure more responsibilities, we had to take charge and organize our work environment as  head chefs (Solene Pfund, 2nd Semester)

Moreover, at the beginning of CBL we are asked to write our own recipe and some of them will be introduced in the menu. Mine has been selected and that day I was super motivated to go to work and do my best to create the Spinach Pinwheel!
